Volunteers needed for Spartan Race

The Montana Spartan Race is back for the third year near Bigfork.

Saturday, May 9, is the Spartan Beast, a rugged 12- to 15-mile course with 30 to 35 punishing obstacles.

Sunday, May 10, is the return of the Spartan Sprint. NBC Sports will be on the course all weekend filming the obstacle racing.

Volunteers are needed.

Each volunteer will receive a free lunch and drinks, free parking, free festival entry and a volunteer T-shirt. Choose to volunteer for a half day or a full day. Duties include everything from beer pouring to taking surveys.
