People invited to join Virtual Dementia Tour

Prestige Assisted Living Kalispell invites the public to see what living with Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia is like by hosting the Virtual Dementia Tour.

The facility will the tour Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22 at scheduled times.

The Virtual Dementia Tour is a 20-minute-long experience that places a person “in the shoes” and in the mind of someone with dementia.

 Described as an “immersion experience,” the tour demonstrates the mental and physical challenges of living with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease.

It uses sensory tools and instruction for people to experience the world their loved ones may have to deal with every day.

Prestige Assisted Living is located at 125 Glenwood Drive in Kalispell. To schedule a time for the experience, call 756-1818.
