Not so liberal after all: Setting the record straight

Recent reports of my liberalism have been greatly exagerated. Imagine my surprise when reading Herb White’s letter in the May 19 opinion section to find my own name being thrown in with the likes of Obama, Hillary and George Soros.

Apparently, Mr. White feels I have attacked Frank Miele in one of my letters. I only wish Mr. White would have given the specifics, being that I can’t remember said attack, but I would be happy to debate and defend any letter I have written to this paper. —Neil Creighton, Kalispell

(Editor’s Note: For the record, Neil Creighton’s conservative bona fides are still in good order. Mr. Creighton did have a letter to the editor on the Inter Lake Opinion page on the day described by Mr. White, but his wasn’t the letter criticizing Managing Editor Frank Miele. That was actually a letter by Tom Nerison of Kalispell.)
