Cross country: Glacier's Annie Hill captures individual title at Butte

BUTTE — Annie Hill’s sensational sophomore season continues as the Glacier distance standout easily won the Butte Invitational cross county meet on Saturday.

Hill breezed around the course in a quick time of 17 minutes, 2.83 seconds.

Second place went to Tiahna Vladic of Billings Senior (17:20.58).

Glacier (158) finished fifth in the team standings. Billings Senior (32) placed first while Missoula Sentinel (112) was second.

Senior (47) also claimed the boys team trophy. Helena (124) was second and Glacier (173) checked in fifth.

Marhsall Beatty of Sentinel was the individual winner (14:57.06).

Brock Adkins had the best showing for Glacier, placing 14th (16:13.74).
