Class A soccer playoffs: Libby boys advance, Polson falls
POLSON — Josh Bundy, Patrick Comstock and Nick Mack all scored goals as Billings Central defeated Polson 3-1 on Saturday evening in first-round Class A boys soccer playoff action.
Billing Central (9-2-0) led 2-0 at the half.
Mike Mercer scored on a penalty kick for Polson (8-3-2) in the 76th minute.
Billings Central will host Corvallis (12-1-0) in semifinal play on Saturday. Corvallis defeated Livingston (5-5-3) in first-round action 3-0.

LIBBY — Tied at the end of regulation and through overtime, Libby defeated Missoula Loyola on penalty kicks in a first-round match.
Both goals came in the first half — Cody Wood scoring for Libby at 12 minutes and Jacob Benson for Loyola at 23 minutes.
