Man injured in fall from scissors lift

A man was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Friday morning after falling from a scissors lift.

“It appeared that a gentlemen in a scissors lift lost his balance,” Kalispell Police Department Sgt. Doug Overman said.

The lift was being used in outdoor construction behind the Discount Tire building near the intersection of U.S. 93 and West Reserve Drive.

The lift overturned as the man fell, Overman said.

Overman could not estimate how far the man fell.

Overman said the man was alert when he was transported to the hospital.
