Man can't decompress with noise

A very agitated man on Seventh Avenue East was upset that he didn’t get the peace and quiet he needed to barbecue due to a neighbor’s “giant” compressor.

The man made veiled threats to Kalispell Police Department that “if the law didn’t take care of it he would.” The man later called back and said it was a contractor making the noise and had gone for the night.

Police arrested a man involved with a bicycle theft and who possibly started a fire in alley on West Idaho Street

A mother on North Main Street and East Idaho Street told police she thought her daughter was under the influence of prescription drugs stolen from an elderly relative.

Someone reported a male driver and three to four occupants were underage, drinking, speeding and swerving all over the road.

A woman reportedly broke a window and took the refrigerator of a Fifth Avenue East apartment.

A property manager for on Appleway Drive and North Meridian Road chased a woman who was trying to get into random apartments. The woman also allegedly asked people for blankets.


Whitefish Police Department received a report that surveillance equipment was stolen from a Central Avenue business.

A complaint of loud music with “deep bass” was made from Patton Lane.

A fight broke out between four males on Central Avenue. The fight allegedly began when two males in their vehicle began antagonizing two other men.


Someone on Third Avenue East reported to Columbia Falls Police Department that former owners of a foreclosed residence were in the house on an ongoing basis although the locks had been changed.
