Gordon Lytle, 58

Gordon Lytle, 58, of Kalispell, passed away Sept. 10, 2015.

Gordon was born in Whitefish, to Robert and Gloriana (Auge) Lytle. Gordon was raised in Whitefish and Dallas, Oregon.

He entered the National Guard shortly after high school and served his country honorably. Gordon worked mostly in lumber yards, but his true passion was picking hucks and shrooms. He loved camping with his dad, brother, and friends and being in the outdoors. He was an avid reader; reading over 10,000 books from western novels to science, or anything that he thought was interesting and worth learning. His favorite song he loved to listen to was “He ain’t heavy he’s my brother.”

Gordon was preceded in death by his sister, Dena Lytle, and grandparents Freddy and Geneva Hotel.

He is survived by his children, Jordan Lytle, Sierra Lytle, Jennifer Lytle Niles, Parents Gloriana Auge-Rudd and Robert Lytle; brothers Ron and Sue Lytle and Shane Crumbley and sisters, Cheryle Schwegel and Tina Macales.
