Jesse David Peterson, 30

Jesse David Peterson was born July 24, 1985, in Sonora, California, and passed away Aug. 24, 2015, near Columbia Falls.

Jesse was quiet, kind, always willing to help family and friends, and was very adapt physically. He loved to work and play outdoors. He was happiest and most at peace when floating the river, exploring the forest, camping, etc.

Jesse spent his early years in California and moved to Montana in high school, graduated from Flathead High School in 2004.

He married Kimmy Romine and adopted her son, Degan. Jesse and Kimmy also have a second son, Hagen.

He worked for Fretz Masonry, T-bend paring, and most recently Montana Rockworks.

He had developed many friendships, including those of his co-workers, high school mates, and Amber and her children. Many of them shared happy memories of their times with Jesse at his memorial.

Jesse is survived by his sons, Degan and Hagen; father, Mark Peterson; mother, Melissa Conn; brother, Joseph Peterson; stepfather, Russ Conn; former wife, Kimmy; grandmothers, Margaret Peterson and Lois Smith; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Jesse was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be missed more than he will ever know.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Columbia Mortuary.
