FVCC to hold free lecture

In recognition of National Surgical Technologists Week, the Flathead Valley Community College surgical technology program will host a free community lecture on organ, tissue and cornea donation at 6 p.m. Sept. 24. The presentation is open to the public and will take place in rooms 123C and D of the Learning Resource Center.

Presented by Nicole Weiher, hospital development program manager at LifeCenter Northwest, the lecture will provide information on becoming a registered donor, donation options and the donor registry.

Other frequently asked questions about the topic will also be addressed. Following the presentation, Weiher will field questions from the audience.
