OPINION: Media elite anoint Fiorina, so beware!

After the second GOP presidential debate, or circus, whichever you want to brand it — Carly Fiorina is the new mainstream media darling. This was all very carefully orchestrated by CNN, the lame stream media and the Washington Democratic and Republican establishment elites.

Praising Fiorina will work toward their ultimate goal of dismantling the popular conservative candidate, Donald Trump. Ted Cruz was daily being vilified when he was the first to announce his candidacy. To this very day, he is being ignored and minimalized by the media — even by Fox News — who want the frontrunner to be a moderate, Jeb Bush.

Carly Fiorina, just like Hillary Clinton, flip-flopped on big issues to turn out good polling results. In 2004, Hillary declared that marriage was not just a bond but also a “sacred” bond between a man and a woman. Look it up.

Just weeks after 9/11, Fiorina gave a speech defending the cultural, legal and scientific heritage of the Muslim world — huh? What nerve… Sorry, but for the amount of Muslims on the planet, their contributions are almost negligible compared to even the tiny nation of Israel! In 2013 she was defending John Boehner’s reluctance when Ted Cruz was trying to get Congress to defund Obamacare. 

Yes, even Trump has flip-flopped, we all know it, but he was a businessman in a very liberal environment and he admits courting them at the time. He admits it outright. The media is silent on Clinton and other left and moderate candidates but destroys anyone they cannot “control”…

We lean more to Ted Cruz and Dr. Carson, but we think a tough, no nonsense, Donald Trump, could be very effective at this pivotal juncture. President Reagan switched to the Republican party in the 1960s because he felt the “Democratic party left him.” We miss President Reagan — he lifted up God on high and the lives of the people. —Russell and Linda Johnson, Kalispell
