LETTER: Jesus wouldn't put us in danger
Some people who want to allow more Muslim refugees in this country say they are doing what Jesus would do. Well, let’s take a look at the facts:
It is reported that 6,600 ISIS fighters have Western passports, which would allow any one of them to come to this country. The United States admitted 680,000 immigrants from Muslim countries over five years, 2009-2013, who were granted permanent resident status in the United States. This is more than the entire population of Muslims in Belgium.
This is not accounting for the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that stream across our borders every day of the year. According to Sen. Jeff Sessions, immigration from Muslim countries is the fastest growing of all parts of the world. On Jan. 6, the Pew Research Center stated that 3.3 million Muslims live in the United States and by 2050 the population will be 8.1 to 9.4 million. Their goal is to populate the world and through government take the world over.
U.S. Army retired Lt. Gen. William Boykin has declared that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our government at the highest levels in the Pentagon, DHS, both Democratic and Republican parties and virtually all prominent branches of the U.S. government. As many as 84 percent of Americans believe that Mideast immigration is dangerous. This is shared by 80 percent of blacks and 90 percent of Hispanics. Only 25 percent of Americans want to bring Syrian refugees into the United States.
The facts and figures show that we Americans have done more than our share to promote and help the immigrants from all over the world. It’s time that we think about the safety of the citizens who have shed blood to preserve our freedom and sovereignty. As of today the FBI has said that we do NOT have the ability to properly vet the refugees; therefore wouldn’t it be prudent to STOP all resettling of Muslim refugees until we know who we are dealing with?
I think Jesus would want us to protect our family and our country.
