Steve Blouin, 54
Steve Blouin, 54, passed away Wednesday, March 30th, 2016.
Steve was born in New York City on May 29, 1961. He grew up in Rockland County, New York. He graduated from New York University Stern School of Business in 1983 and went on to work for Millennium Corporate Real Estate Company in New York City for several years before branching out and opening his own business in New Jersey.
In 1987, he married his wife, Margaret O’Rouke, and together they were blessed with five children while living in Rumson, New Jersey, before moving to Montana in 2010.
Steve loved God, his family and his dogs, in that order. He was a faithful consecrated member of the Holy Family Institute, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Whitefish. His greatest joys were his family and receiving Holy Communion.
Steve is predeceased by his father, Nelson Blouin.
Steve is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter Jessica Janise and son-in-law Ryan Janise, sons Sean Patrick, John and Daniel Blouin; grandsons Michael and Aaron Janise; his mother Mary Blouin; and his siblings Kirk, Brian and Debra.
There will be a vigil prayer service at 6 p.m. on Monday April 4, at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Whitefish. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Whitefish.
Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.
