Pete G.C. Hendricks, of Bigfork, found his peace after flying fighter jets in Vietnam by moving to the Flathead Valley. He found closure in writing about the experience of being a combat surviver by writing his two books, “The Second War” and “To Any Soldier", which he co-authored with Kathryn Watson Quigg and released this winter.
