LAW ROUNDUP: Stranger hurls book at man
Kalispell Police responded to the intersection of Seventh Avenue West and Third Street West, where a man said he had been walking down the street when an unknown person threw a book at him and hit him in the head for unknown reasons.
A man called from Fourth Avenue East to report that someone was using his name to obtain nude photographs of young girls. The man was worried that it might have repercussions for him, though he was not involved.
An officer made sure a woman had a ride home after she entered a clothing store just before closing, smelling of alcohol and stumbling around.

The man allegedly took off. He had allegedly previously told the woman he was involved in the Mexican mafia. The woman refused medical treatment.

A woman on Lore Lake Road was given advice about obtaining a no-contact order after her son-in-law showed up and caused a ruckus after allegedly threatening to burn down her daughter’s trailer earlier in the day.
A woman on Brady Way near Whitefish did not want an officer to come out, but did want to log a report for information after her husband allegedly got drunk and threw her into the ground.
A man was dropped off in downtown Bigfork after a woman reported he was at her residence on Montana 35 continuously knocking on the door. The man had a five-gallon bucket in tow.
Whitefish Police advised people involved of their pending warrants after someone reported hearing sounds of yelling and violence coming from a house for hours. The officer who responded determined the incident was part of an ongoing situation.
