A Lakeside man has denied delivering methamphetamine in Flathead County and elsewhere in Montana in 2015.

Nicholas Richard Axelberg, 36, of Lakeside, pleaded not guilty in U.S. Federal District Court on March 29 to conspiracy to felony distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and distribution of methamphetamine.

Court documents claim that Axelberg delivered more than five grams of methamphetamine to locations in Flathead County on Sept. 25, Sept. 10 and Aug. 25, 2015.

He allegedly assisted three co-defendants in delivering more than 50 grams of methamphetamine to places in Lewis and Clark and Missoula counties on Oct. 5, 2015.

He and codefendants Alfredo Martinez Cortez, Kelly Gordon Dupuis, Anna Lucille James, Kaulika Tehara Arensberg and James Michael Randall are accused of working together and delivering methamphetamine across Montana since summer 2014.
