LAW ROUNDUP: Mom upset about abuse, missing ring

A woman called Kalispell Police from Treeline Road to report that she wanted to turn her daughter in for elder abuse. She also wanted her wedding ring returned.

A casino reported that someone tried to pass a counterfeit $2 bill.

Windows were reported as broken out of a building on College Avenue.


A woman reported to Whitefish Police Department that her purse had been stolen from a vehicle.


Columbia Falls Police stopped a suspected drunken driver on Third Avenue West, but found that the driver was sober. The officer counseled the driver on his or her skills.


A Flathead County Sheriff’s deputy found that the door of a Martin City home had been bashed in and that items had been taken after the owner, who is in another state, got a call from an alarm company.

A man on Ashley Meadows Road reported that he thought he knew who might have broken into his home and stolen six European elk mounts.

A woman on Mountain Drive reported that someone had siphoned gasoline out of her tank.
