LAW ROUNDUP: Only 'relations' here are the bad kind

A man called Kalispell Police from First Avenue West asking for help from a woman in her 50s who lived a block away. The man said the woman kept coming to his home, calling him, and telling people they were “having relations” when they were not. An officer left a message for the woman, telling her to leave the man alone.

A woman on Northridge Drive reported that checks, credit cards, and cash had been stolen some time in the past two weeks.

A man called from Third Avenue West to report that he thought a man he had testified against in court might be calling him and hanging up.

A laptop, keys, paperwork, and wallet were stolen from a vehicle on North Meridian Road.

An officer made sure a man and a woman were separated after the man reported that his girlfriend would not leave his camper and was threatening the man.


Flathead Sheriff’s Office took a report from a man who called from Montana 35 near Kalispell to report that someone had hired him through Facebook and paid him with a fraudulent check.

A man reported that teenagers might be raiding the garbage of a marijuana dispensary in order to access discarded parts of the pot plants.

A man on Shadow Lane reported that his female landlord might be sending him sexually harassing text messages and coming into his room without permission. The man was in the process of changing his living situation.


Whitefish Police responded to Denver Street where a woman suspected her unfriendly neighbors of dumping the dirt out of the pot she was growing herbs in onto her floor mat.
