LAW ROUNDUP: Job interview more important than crash?
A woman called Kalispell Police from Depot Park to report that she had been hit by another vehicle. The woman had an aching back, but the other driver was allegedly rude and told the victim she had to go to a job interview.
A person reported that a man and a woman were fighting in a vehicle on U.S. 93. The woman tried to throw the man out of the car and appeared to throw a laundry basket and other items out of the car. The woman allegedly slapped the man and he pulled her hair in return. An officer made sure the man and woman had rides home.
A transient man was allowed to sleep inside the Flathead County Justice Center and allegedly made a mess in the restroom and stole the liners to the trash cans.
Columbia Falls Police department logged a report after a father said that his daughter came home with bruises and told him that the girl’s stepfather had abused her while she was at her mother’s home.
Whitefish Police counseled some youngsters playing on top of a church roof.
A guitar was retrieved from a transient and returned to its rightful owner after someone reported that the item had been stolen from Central Avenue.
