LETTER: Regier is experienced and effective

Keith Regier is one of my heroes in the Montana Legislature. He serves his constituents and the state of Montana with passion and honor. Through hard work and consistent values he earned his leadership position in the House of Representatives.

I asked Keith to support changes in the law to prevent deaths from impaired driving. He was a strong proponent in the key Judiciary Committee. He asked good questions and made important points during testimony, in executive sessions, and behind the scenes. In the 2015 session he sponsored critical bills, and with his careful management they passed with huge majorities in the House committees and on the House floor. He has the connections with and the respect of his colleagues.

A new legislator has a steep learning curve. Keith is an experienced legislator at the top of that curve — he is extremely effective! Please send him back to Helena to bring his talents, values, and hard work to the Senate!
