LETTER: School board candidate offers more information

| April 24, 2016 7:15 AM

I want to thank the Daily Inter Lake for publishing the article on the local school-board elections.

Voting in local elections is a great way to have our voices heard on what direction we want our local schools to go. A school board sets the tone and vision for our schools, and so in the long term for our community as a whole.

As a voter, I have often found it difficult to find information on local candidates.

As I happen to be running in this race, information about my approach can be found here: www.rebeccalinden.com.

Also running for the Kalispell Elementary School Board is Mary Tepas. You can find information on her campaign here: https://www.facebook.com/electmarytepas/

The more informed we all are about our candidates, the better we can all make our choices.

Be aware that the Kalispell Elementary School Board election is by mail-in vote. Your ballot may have already arrived at your house. Please vote, don’t throw it out. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference with your vote!
