Glenna Jo Albiston Harris, 73
Glenna Jo Albiston Harris, 73, was born in Soda Springs, Idaho, to George and Fern Albiston on June 11,1942.
She passed away April 18, 2016, in Ogden, Utah.
She attended Flathead County High School through her junior year and graduated from Darby High School as valedictorian.
She married Otis Harris on Nov. 15,1952, in Hamilton and solemnized their marriage April 16,1968, in the Idaho Falls, Idaho, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They built a home, raised their family and ran their business, Harris Excavation, in Florence for 26 years. They moved to Moscow Idaho, in 1994, and then to Ogden in 2002 where she continued working at Lucas Lumber and being mom and grandma. Glenna enjoyed sharing her life and talents with her family, constantly loving and enjoying her children and grandchildren — Jeff and Deena Harris and their five children, Greg Harris and Tracey Harris and their three children, and Nate and Jodie Lucas and their 14 children; and Otis, her husband of 53 years — one big, happy family.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She leaves a brother, Ron and Sharon Albiston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenna’s services were held April 23 at the Lomond View Ward in Ogden, followed by burial at West Haven Cemetery.
