LETTER: Linden for SD5 school board

As many of your readers are aware, the District 5 School Board elections are going on now and ballots are due May 3.

Rebecca Linden is running for a board seat. When someone of her talent and commitment to kids is willing to participate in such a meaningful manner, I feel the need to share this good news. There is no doubt Rebecca will make a positive contribution to District 5. She is dedicated to kids, education and the system that efficiently and thoughtfully delivers that education.

The School Board is an important part of District 5, and Rebecca will make a great addition. She is focused on education and the mission of the board to be the voice of the students they serve. She takes a systematic approach to problem solving. She believes in open communication at all levels. She is mindful of limited resources and she supports those on the ground, the teachers. It is without reservation that I support Rebecca Linden and I ask you readers to support her as well. Thank you for your time.
