Benghazi chairman to stump for Zinke Aug. 9 week

U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., will speak at a Flathead Valley rally next week to support the re-election campaign of Montana’s lone congressman.

U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., is scheduled to kick off a series of campaign stops with his South Carolina colleague at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Majestic Valley Arena.

A three-term U.S. representative from Greenville, South Carolina, Gowdy became well-known nationally after serving as chairman of the U.S. House Select Committee on Benghazi.
