RELIGION ROUNDUP: First Presbyterian holds ice cream social on Aug. 10

The First Presbyterian Church in Kalispell is hosting a community ice cream social on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. The entire community is invited to attend.

The social will be in celebration of the church’s 125th anniversary. The congregation was established in 1891 and has served the Kalispell community ever since.

Eidsvold Lutheran to offer program on GriefShare

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one is invited to attend the upcoming GriefShare Program at Eidsvold Lutheran Church in Somers.

Regular sessions will begin on Sunday, Aug. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sessions continue each Sunday at the same time through Nov. 6.

Each Sunday session features a DVD video seminar with insight from Christian experts offering help through the grief process. Facilitated small group discussions take place after the video. A personal workbook assists in individual study and application of the concepts.

Eidsvold Lutheran Church is located halfway between Somers and Lakeside, at 5935 U.S. 93 S., Somers.
