| August 21, 2016 8:30 AM

Kalispell Police Department responded to a physical disturbance on Stratford Drive when a woman was reportedly heard screaming “help me” before the line disconnected. Dispatchers called the number back and a person said his or her daughter was being attacked. A woman allegedly hit someone in the head with a rock and the woman herself may have been hit in the head and neck.

A tree was knocked down by a storm and damaged a Third Avenue East resident’s fence.

Someone stole a person’s license plate on U.S. 2 West.

A woman and man were allegedly “screaming profanity” around a lot of kids on West Idaho Street.

A truck that reportedly ran through a fence on U.S. 93 South was back in the area and a man was spotted digging through a dumpster.

Someone reported a driver “was just mean to the lady at the gate” on North Meridian Road.

A man and woman were seen allegedly drinking alcohol and smoking with a small child in the backseat before going into a store on U.S. 93 North. The man and woman reportedly said they would call a cab and officers said they would wait in the area to make sure that occurred.

Someone got out of a truck and urinated on Northridge Drive.

A man on West Idaho Street wanted to know if an officer could help him get a serpentine belt on his vehicle because “he can’t get it on his own and his buddies and tow companies haven’t answered their phones.”

A man on North Meridian Road didn’t take dispatcher’s advice not to chase a man and a “very large” woman he believed stole his phone. The man said he texted offering a reward and the people agreed to meet him. When they met, the alleged thieves reportedly threatened to smash the phone if he didn’t give them the reward and started running away.

A “sketchy-looking” man was seen trying to break into a vehicle on Tenth Street East and Fourth Avenue East and reportedly ran when a person saw him.

A man reported his AR-15 was stolen on Ninth Avenue West.
