Man killed in industrial accident south of Kalispell

A 51-year-old Bonner man was killed Wednesday morning at a business south of Kalispell, according to a press release sent Thursday by the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

The release states that the man, whose name has not been released, was struck by a large bundle of wooden trusses at about 10:30 a.m. as they were being unloaded from a semi trailer by another employee of the company.

The Sheriff’s Office, Somers Fire and Lakeside Ambulance responded. Attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
