- Kalispell Art Walk, 5-9 p.m., downtown. Annual Christmas tree lighting and caroling begins 6 p.m. at Depot Park. Kalispell Chamber serves hot chocolate and kids’ photo booth with Santa. Flathead High School wood shop projects on display, Parks and Recreation, 301 First Ave. E. Children’s cookie decorating, raffle, holiday photos, refreshments.

- Montana Concerns of Police Survivors host the annual Blue Light ceremony and tree lighting, 5:30 p.m., outside of Flathead County Sheriff’s office, Kalispell. Open to public.

- Sixth annual Bigfork Art and Cultural Center Festival of Trees today and Saturday, at the center. ExTREEvaganza 6:30 p.m.. VIP reception 5:30 p.m.; $25 per person. Family Day 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.Kids crafts, activities, games. Free hot chocolate.

- Montana Civil Air Patrol Stuff the Bus event, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shopko, Evergreen. Donate unwrapped Christmas toys for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

- West Shore Holidayfest, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Lakeside Elementary School. Arts and crafts, live music, silent auction, photos with Santa, bake sale, cookie decorating, kids-only market.
