Someone called the Whitefish Police Department to report a man with a walker having trouble walking on Wisconsin Avenue. The caller said the man was trying to push his walker through the snow, and was concerned because the man was allegedly in the road and the caller thought that was unsafe. Officers located the man in question, who was on his way to the store to pick up a few items. Officers gave the man a ride home after he bought what he needed.

A man told police it appeared someone had taken a baseball bat to the ski rack on top of his car while it had been parked downtown overnight. A report was filed.

A caller told police the hill on Dakota Avenue was “very slick” and vehicles had been sliding all over. The caller also wanted to make sure officers were aware that a fire hydrant near the same location was nearly buried in snow.

A passerby called police about a possibly intoxicated man stumbling and falling on Pheasant Run. Officers were unable to locate the allegedly inebriated pedestrian.

Police fielded calls regarding local businesses being harassed and threatened, as well as a call concerning threats of an armed march allegedly being planned by the same group encouraging the harassment of the businesses.

An employee of a Ninth Street West business called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report a man who had allegedly stolen some merchandise.
