Sharon Rose Hutton, 70

Sharon Rose Hutton was born to Lester and Ruth (Winter) Hutton on Dec. 26, 1945, in Kalispell. She attended a one-room schoolhouse, often riding her horse, later attending and graduating from Flathead High School.

Sharon married Ronald Goodrich (divorced) and had two children, Jill Rhonda and Aaron Les.

Having moved all over the country, Sharon made many life-long friends and spent much of her time donating her talents to the Lutheran church and Lutheran schools. At the age of 50, Sharon graduated from college with honors. She was recruited by her favorite professor to work for the college. She proudly worked for Los Medanos Community College and later moved to Boise and worked for the Boise School District. In December of 2015 she was awarded the district’s coveted Golden Apple Award.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruth Hutton.

Sharon is survived by her children, Jill Goodrich of Mesa, Arizona, and Aaron Goodrich of Osburn, Idaho.

Sharon Rose Hutton “passed on to heaven” at her home on hospice on Dec. 30, 2015. She had just turned 70 years old.
