Will refugees bring same risks to U.S. as they brought to Europe?

| February 5, 2016 11:00 AM

For brevity, this letter on the refugee resettlement will stick to the religion Islam. The reader can decide whether displaying American largesse is worth the risk of the probable consequences, already evident in Germany, Amarillo, and now Sweden. See link http://refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/2016/01/14/amarillo- tx-being-destroyed-by-refugee-overload/

Missoula County commissioners have opted to accept refugees, 100 so we’re told. These refugees are mostly Muslims from Syria, raised to convert the world to Islam, and also raised on anti-American rhetoric. If that statement or any other here annoys you, then you must be harboring a bit of the hatred assigned to Islamophobes.

Some say Islam is a religion of peace. To be fair, portions of the Quran do instruct Muslims to be peaceful to “infidels,” but the same Quran says in other places to kill them, so does it contradict itself? The Quran also says it’s OK to lie in the furthering of Islam, so if one is looking for consistency of theme in this religious book, it follows that the peace is only a pretense. The practice of Muhammed himself bears this out, as any reliable archive will show. We as Americans can practice acceptance in the name of religious freedom, but it’s guaranteed to allow fundamental Islamists into our land, and we have no way of knowing who is who among them.

Finishing up, we all know that we lie and murder when the chips are down. The god of the Bible calls us to cease and desist, and the god of the Quran says he rewards those who indulge in these natural impulses in the name of Allah. This will appeal to disaffected people who believe, sometimes rightly, that the world has cheated them. For my money, Allah is none other than the devil himself, and as already said, if that annoys you...

To petition against resettlement, go to www.actforamerica.org. Otherwise Missoula needs to prepare for a circus. To get a read on each refugee, it’s imperative to ask him or her if he or she will renounce Allah. —Eric Knutson, Dayton
