LETTER: Save lives by ending abortion instead of by restricting guns

I hear Obama wants to save lives by gun control. But if you want to save lives, how about starting at the top killer in the U.S. — abortions! Yes, abortions paid for by the taxpayers!

I get confused as to a woman being totally in control of her body. OK, at what age does that start? Seems that they can get abortions without parental consent, but cannot have sex with a man without the man going to jail? Please straighten me out how a girl can be in control and can have an abortion but cannot consent to sex?

Seems the law needs to clarify exactly at what age does a girl or woman actually have to be held responsible for her actions? —Ron Albrecht, Whitefish
