LETTER: Managing editor is modern Sadducee

| February 21, 2016 7:30 AM

Managing Editor Frank Miele seems to think he is onto something when talking about Bernie Sanders. He wonders who this wandering Jew thinks he is fooling. Thousands and thousands of people gather to hear him try and trick them into believing in the possibility of everyone having health care, nonsense. Bernie preaches about the corruption of the political system and how the rich have it rigged in their favor, ridiculous. He actually thinks public education should be free, even at public colleges, foolish. Our high priests of finance know what is best for the country, just ask Frank Miele, as he and other modern Sadducees smear this wandering Jew who believes in the common man and a democratic country.

And he continues to ask, who is this wandering Jew who dares to want to hold the rich accountable for the money they use to mold politics and create laws to avoid paying their fair share of taxes to support this country? That is such an un-American sentiment. Ask Miele. It is COMMUNISTIC. We must listen to our High Priests; they will give us all the guidance we need. And this idea that all the common people should vote; crazy, only those of us who know should vote.

Hey, wait a moment. Isn’t this a twist on what I have heard before? Isn’t this the story we hear on Sundays in our churches? Nah can’t be. Just listen to Frank Miele, he’ll tell you all you need to know about economics, history, and the slackers who are ruining this country. He will educate you on the evils of working for the common good, of unions, of government programs that offer a helping hand, and of caring for others.

Listen to the voices of reason, people. It is better for everyone that we close factories in America, lay off the workers, and move the work to where it is cheaper for the job creators. Unions, good pay and health benefits are the ruination of the country. Big government is evil, Greed is good.

What’s missing? Oh yeah, the crowd shouting, “Crucify him.” —Daniel S. King, Bigfork
