Glass driveway

Recycled glass makes up the driveway at New World Recycling. When the roads connecting to the property become covered by ice, Matt O'Dea pours glass bits over the ice; the glass insulates heat and melts the ice without a need for salt or chemicals. (Seaborn Larson/Daily Inter Lake)
