Emma Christine Jore, 56

Emma Christine Jore, 56, of Kila, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, due to an automobile accident.

Emma was born on Oct. 22, 1959, in Wallace, Idaho. She grew up in Moses Lake and Superior. Emma worked in a mushroom and potato factory in Moses Lake, Washington. She ran her own day care in Polson for many years. Emma did in-home care for several families and worked in Rosauers Bakery. After an extended illness she volunteered at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in inpatient rehab, which gave her great pleasure.

In January 2005, she met the love of her life, Craig Jore, and they were married on August 4, 2007, building a life together on their ranch in Kila.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Christine Colman and Robert Silva.

Survivors include: husband Craig Jore; in-laws Jack and Sandy Bradford; daughter Ticia and Alfredo Escalera, grandson Jacob “pumpkin-eater,” granddaughter Jasmine “Jazzy J” (both she adored immensely); son Zackery Chada; sisters Helen Marie Silva, Robin Silva, Leona Fournier, and half-sister Sara Jane Silva; brothers Ervin Schadler, Alphonso Silva, and Marvin Colman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

“My darling Emma… you always asked… And you love me? My response was… just the way you are! I loved you unconditionally, for better or worse and forever. God brought us together to love and care for each other. I will miss you my Love so very much. Your husband, Craig.”

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at First Presbyterian Church, 540 South Main Street, Kalispell.

The family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory.
