Lion hunting ends in two districts

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is closing Hunting Districts 101 and 122 to male mountain lion hunting a half hour after sunset Monday night.

District 101 includes northern Flathead County and part of Lincoln County.

District 122 includes portions of Flathead, Sanders and Lincoln counties.

Winter season quotas were met in both districts: five in District 101 and four in District 122.

District 120 closed to male lions last month, but all other Region One districts that allow harvests are still open.
