LETTER: Judge's sentence decision lauded

| January 7, 2016 11:00 AM

Let’s hear it for Judge Robert Allison for NOT believing in third, fourth, and subsequent chances, as so many other judges out there do, and for Prosecutor Travis Ahner for reminding the judge and standing up and being the voice for the 11-month-old little girl in 2012 that Dalton Lauria abused.

Clearly suspending sentences doesn’t work. Why is it that no one sees this? As for the innocent defenseless children... maybe in child abuse/sexual abuse cases it should be eye for an eye, which should include the mothers of these children who allow their children to be in harm’s way. —Ty Fromm, Kalispell
