A court document incorrectly identified which charges were dismissed involving Ryan Lee Moskaloff, 38, resulting in an incorrect story in Thursday’s Inter Lake.

A criminal endangerment charge and two counts of attempted deliberate homicide were dismissed against Ryan Lee Moskaloff, 38.

Moskaloff pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

Defense attorney Lane Bennett said the charges were dropped because Moskaloff was acting in self-defense when he shot at three people who entered his property without permission on Dec. 26, 2014.

“It shows how weak the state’s case was,” Bennett said.

Moskaloff will be sentenced Feb. 25.
