LAW ROUNDUP: Vehicle hits power pole, leaves mess

Montana Highway Patrol, Flathead Electric Cooperative and Bad Rock Fire Department responded after power lines were downed on Montana 206 by a collision with a vehicle. Cleanup took more than an hour.

Whitefish Police were called after a man said that he needed law enforcement to respond to a location off U.S. 93, where his girlfriend had attacked him.

A man called to report that his vehicle had been stolen from Colorado Avenue, but found that it instead had been towed at the order of a police officer.

Columbia Falls Police responded to Martha Road, where a woman reported that a man had stolen six or seven guns from her home. An officer found that the issue was actually a civil dispute over the weapons.

Kalispell Police responded to U.S. 93, where a man reported that a purse had been stolen from a parked, unlocked vehicle.

A man was arrested after a neighbor living along Montana 35 reported that she could hear the man beating a woman. The reporting neighbor said the woman often is bruised and hides her face.

A man on Empire Loop reported that his Ruger P90 .45 was stolen. The owner had a suspect in mind.

A bicyclist hit by a vehicle on an unspecified roadway could still move his toes when an ambulance arrived on scene.

An officer found nothing was wrong after a woman called from First Avenue East North to report that a man was walking down the street with an assault weapon.
