Applications available for Patrol Fund awards

The Patrol Fund’s Avalanche Education and Scholarship Program promotes wilderness medicine and snow safety education in the community.

The purpose of the scholarship fund is to support winter enthusiasts and professionals in pursuing upper level wilderness medicine and avalanche education.

 The Patrol Fund offers five different scholarships annually: Level 1 Avalanche, Level 2 Avalanche, Youth Snow Safety, Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder.

Recipients of the Patrol Fund Community Scholarships are awarded the costs of course tuition and fees.

Lodging and food costs are not included. Applicants may apply for one course per season and must meet qualifications.
