A driver called the Whitefish Police Department from Big Mountain Road to report that a snowmobile had come off a trailer onto the road, then slid into a ditch, all without the driver noticing.

Officers took a report from a woman who said her vehicle had been damaged while parked outside a Central Avenue business.

A Karrow Avenue resident called because she was concerned for a neighbor. The caller said the woman was always good about leaving hay out for her horses, but that she hadn’t seen any hay for several days. She believed the woman lived alone and wanted officers to check on her. Officers were able to locate the woman, who was fine. Her horses were fine, too.

A bouncer at a Central Avenue establishment called to report he had been assaulted by two male patrons. He said one man pushed him in an attempt to start a fight, a second man grabbed him, then the first man punched him in the face. Officers caught up with the pair of suspects at another Central Avenue business.

An employee of a Central Avenue bar called for help removing a disorderly female from the premises. The woman was allegedly extremely intoxicated and had been talking to and scaring customers. She had been removed from inside the establishment, but was reportedly hanging around outside and continuing to cause problems.

A driver called to report two men on the side of the road throwing snowballs at vehicles on East Second Street. The men allegedly both had beers in hand. Officers were unable to locate the suspects, and no damage was reported to the caller’s vehicle.

A caller at a U.S. 93 West business called to report an intoxicated woman in the lobby “making threats and being belligerent” and threatening the security guard. She was gone by the time officers arrived.
