LETTER:Join Missoula rally against refugee program

| January 31, 2016 11:00 AM

Please join Act! for America in Missoula for a “Rally to Stand Against Refugee Resettlement.”

There are several “non-profit” groups in Missoula and Helena who are working meticulously to bring in the International Rescue Committee. The IRC resettles thousands of refugees each year in different U.S. cities.

The Missoula County commissioners signed off on a letter of support on Jan. 13, 2016.

This is not acceptable as these “refugees” cannot be fully or properly vetted. There are 48 states that resettle refugees, but over the years, only a small number have come to Montana. All that could soon change if the IRC opens an office in Missoula.

The FBI has informed us they are now following terrorist cells in all 50 states. Americans concerned about safety naturally think of the recent, unpleasant occurrences in Paris, San Bernardino, and a clutch of German cities.

Montanans need to take a stand. It is time to let our elected officials know how we feel. Once the seeds of resettlement are planted in the state there will be no stopping it.

Join us Monday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. in front of the Missoula County Courthouse for a rally to stand against this refugee resettlement.

We need everyone who truly cares about the safety of this great nation to show up and let our elected officials know that we are more adamantly against this invasion of “refugees.”

Please join us and bring all the friends and family you can.

Our future depends on it. We need you. Montana needs you. America needs you.

Let us unite together and stand against this radical invasion! —Brigitte Gabriel, president, Act! for America
