OPINION: Obama, government make grab for our God-given rights
Once again the godfather of the crime syndicate running our country, aka the federal government, is attempting to take away another one of our God-given constitutional rights.
Our freedom of speech rights are non-existent on the campuses of the universities and colleges around the country. Churches have been threatened, bullied and silenced from their traditional Christian values and teachings. Average citizens are afraid to speak for fear of being branded a bigot, racist, sexist, xenophobe or homophobe.
They have twisted and perverted the 14th Amendment to neutralize our votes, take away our jobs and jeopardize our security. And now with the silence of the lambs, these progressive Democrats and Republicans are once again attacking our Second Amendment God-given rights. Once again the crime boss of the U.S. government attacks our rights, and his willing co-conspirators in the House, Senate and Supreme Court are expressing their opinions but ultimately will do nothing to stop the destruction of our rights and the Constitution of the United States.
It has become increasingly clear that we are on our own. There are too few people in Washington who represent the people who elected them and none of them are from our state. Our Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment to protect our freedom and liberty because they knew that at some point in the future we were likely to come under attack. That time, unfortunately, may have come.
We have a president who is exercising an unprecedented and unconstitutional power grab. He is importing terror to our country — it is not a matter of if they will kill our citizens; it is how many and this unimpeached president wants to render this nation’s citizens defenseless.
Convicted felons and criminal illegal aliens are being released from prison, and many of them continue their criminal behavior against law-abiding citizens. The federal syndicate is arming federal agencies; you have to ask for what purpose? Is it because of some anticipated invasion? Not likely, they are arming themselves against the potential resistance of the freedom-loving citizens who will refuse to give up their freedom and liberty to a tyrannical government and give up their guns to a government who has put them in harm’s way.
I remember when the Republican Party’s platform was for a smaller, less intrusive federal government. That went out the window with the first Bush and that is when the neo-con or progressive Republicans took over the party.
Reagan recognized that big government was the problem and the power and responsibility should reside with the states and the people as the Constitution prescribed. Now we have a government controlled by progressive Republicans and progressive Democrats. The only difference between the two groups is the platforms they use to deceive their voters so they will gain the power necessary to reward their donors and forward their hidden agendas. Their ultimate goal is some neo-socialism where a perpetual progressive ruling class chooses the winners and the losers. Ultimately we are the losers our freedom and liberty will be gone and the Constitution will only be a relic from the past — no religion, no guns, no freedom.
Once again these progressives are trying to choose our candidates. On the left you have Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders is a self-described socialist and Clinton is an unindicted felon who if we had an honest government would be in prison. On the right we have several candidates most of which have become conservatives now that they are running for president. There are two, however, that represent a chance for change in the right direction. They are universally despised by the Democrats and the Republicans because they oppose this hostile takeover by the progressives.
We cannot continue to elect these progressives and expect a different result. The Bushes, Clintons, and Obamas have taken us down a black hole from which there is no escape. The leaders of both parties are in collusion to fundamentally transform this nation into one that has no resemblance to the one created by our Founding Fathers. We must stand up for our God-given rights and begin to take back our nation and reject the tyranny we are experiencing from this criminal enterprise. It is our responsibility to preserve the Constitution and the freedom and liberty it represents for our future generations.
