LETTER: Governor urged to protect state from terror threat

| July 12, 2016 10:07 AM

I went to a gathering of Montana citizens to hear what Brigitte Gabriel had to say about the threats to this country from Islamic extremists.

Terrorists are already in our country, training to take us out. I am urging Gov. Bullock to not let more come into Montana. The average age of these so-called refugees is 26, and most are males. They are all Muslim, no Christians. These refugees have to be vetted so as to keep the people of this country and Montana safe.

Gov. Bullock, I am sure you have heard about the alleged rape of the 5-year-old girl in Idaho. Are you really ready to have that happen to the young girls of our state? In Europe they have already embedded over 4,000 terrorists with the refugees.

The governor is up for re-election, and his actions for refugees are going to affect the vote from Montana citizens. I also heard that in Montana, our tax dollars will start taking care of these Muslims after three months. How long before they bring in their family members? There were more than 500 people at the meeting July 7 hearing what I heard. Obama will be out of office soon, and God willing we will have a conservative in the White House, not Hillary Clinton.

Governor, if you can safely vet these Muslim refugees and put a limit on how long they can stay in our state, then we can talk about it. The safety of Montanan citizens should be the government’s first priority.
