A parrot was found by a man on Forest Drive in Kalispell. The man wasn’t sure who it belonged to and was advised that the animal shelter was not set up for parrots and to contact a business that has helped out with “exotics” in the past.
A possibly intoxicated man was “acting really funny,” walking into traffic waving his arms around, then just standing there eating something before trying to flag down cars, according to someone on U.S. 35 in Bigfork.
A woman possibly on First Avenue South in Martin City reportedly got into an argument with another woman over dogs “that get loose all the time” and a threat was made “to burn the house down.”
A fight broke out between a woman and man in front of a church on First Street West in Martin City. Someone called to report seeing five people — all men except one woman wearing a bikini top — standing around the area. The caller said the woman may have gotten hit and was on the ground. When officers arrived, the people were gone.
A man who allegedly got out of jail was “beating on” a woman in a trailer on Bitterroot Drive in Marion. The caller also reportedly could hear the man screaming, yelling and “pounding on things,” and a child begging him to stop.
A man on Jellison Road told officers that another man “put a hit on him.” The caller had received a threatening text message and heard shots fired that he believed were meant as threats toward him.
