Police take call about drugged dog
A woman told Kalispell Police that she believed her dog had eaten marijuana. She said she discovered the dog had somehow consumed drugs when it fell sick and she took the dog to vet, who allegedly said the animal was high. The woman told police there was no pot in her house.
A business manager told police a customer appeared “to be on drugs.” The manager said the woman was “twitching” and making “customers nervous.”
Someone reported there were three suspicious people sitting in a car outside a restaurant looking at nice cars. The caller said one person in the car “kept putting his head down and raising it up really fast,” and that he had “bloodshot eyes.” Police discovered the group was simply waiting for a table from their car.
Whitefish Police were called when someone realized a skil saw, impact gun and other items were stolen from their truck, which was parked on Aspen Grove Street.
A dog with the name tag that said “Zeke” was found wandering along Saint Moritz Road in Whitefish. The dog had a cut on its left hind leg. Police couldn’t contact the animal’s owner so the dog was dropped off at the county animal shelter.
A hotel front desk clerk told police that a man claimed someone was calling him from the location making threatening calls. The clerk said the caller had made threats against the staff, saying he would “come over with a tenderizer and make sure [they were] never born.”
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office separated a fight between three men at a Kalispell park. Deputies counseled the men before they left.
Someone told officers that a man and woman had allegedly been walking around West Glacier and “asking people for medications and money.”
Someone told dispatch they saw “two 12-year-old girls dancing to music as if they were in a strip club.”
