Marc Linthacum Marker, 74

Marc Linthacum Marker passed away at age 74 on May 28, 2016, in Marin County while awaiting surgery at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center.

Marc was an alumni of the 1960 graduating class of Harvard School in Los Angeles. He served his professional career as chief counsel and secretary of Security Pacific Leasing Corporation.

Marc proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve for 34 years. On retirement, Marc and his wife, Sandra, moved to Montana in 2000.

They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year and enjoyed retirement together boating on Flathead Lake, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Marc was predeceased by his parents, Clifford H. and Voris (Linthacum) Marker; brothers, Clifford Schuler and Charles G. Schuler Sr.; nephew, Frederick R. Schuler; and niece, Channing Lee (Schuler) Phillips; as well as uncles, aunts and cousins of the Linthacum and Heinecke families.

Marc is survived by his wife, Sandra Marker, son Victor Marker, daughter Gwen Oldham, son-in-law Michael Oldham, grandson Evan Oldham, nephews Charles Schuler Jr. and Henry Schuler, as well as members of the Heinecke and Linthacum families.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome in memory of Marc L. Marker to a charity of choice, the ChildFund Inter-national, or the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kalispell, with a reception following.
