LAW ROUNDUP: Two Bear Air has busy Wednesday
Two Bear Air made two trips into the wilderness on Wednesday, first heading into the Tilobite Lakes area of the Bob Marshall Wilderness to rescue a horseman who suffered a leg injury after getting bucked off his horse.
Two Bear Air pilot Jim Bob Pierce said the man appeared to be in stable condition, and was brought to a waiting LifeFlight helicopter from Great Falls at Schafer Meadows airstrip. The man was transferred to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Pierce said they were then dispatched to the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness for another leg injury. A hiker from Washington state suffered an open fracture after a rock rolled on him. He was hoisted from the wilderness area and dropped off with Sanders County Search and Rescue.
A husband and wife reported being hit by air rifle pellets by people in a white sedan on First Avenue East to Kalispell Police Department. The people were apparently on a shooting spree when a call came in later on East Center Street that a woman and her boyfriend were hit by the hooligan as well. Later on, a man was hit on Third Avenue East North and started following the vehicle. The white vehicle then allegedly hit the man’s car, causing “a lot” of damage.
A driver said she almost hit an unleashed dog that a woman was walking between Fifth Avenue West and Sixth Avenue West. The driver said the woman started screaming at her and threatening her. It seemed both the driver and dispatchers were familiar with the woman when the driver said the woman “didn’t have her shopping cart today.”
A man complained that his neighbors had their sprinklers on too high and the water was going in his camper and on his stuff on Third Avenue West.
A woman was seen lying on the concrete and a man reportedly “acting crazy around her,” on First Avenue West. The woman got up and staggered across the street.
A man was reported to have “shot up” in a bathroom of a West Idaho Street business because he came out with a “fresh puncture wound on his arm.”
A customer thought he heard a kidnapping attempt on North Meridian Road when he heard a woman scream and tires squealing and a purse and sandals were found at a business across the street.
A man was allegedly going through cars and opening doors on U.S. 93 South.
A manager on U.S. 2 East called Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report that the two men reportedly threatened to sic a dog on an employee while he was outside dumping garbage and were harassing customers. Officers advised the men to stay away.
A raft and trailer were reported stolen on Garden Drive in Kalispell.
A man on U.S. 2 West in Marion told officers he was allegedly attacked by his mom while he was moving her stuff out of the cupboards. She claimed he was stealing her stuff. The mother said her son reportedly came to the residence and was throwing things around.
A young boy wearing swim trunks and no shoes was seen wandering the highway on Montana 35. The boy was reportedly making his way to Lion’s Park in Kalispell from Bernard Road in Evergreen.
Child neglect was reported on Shady Lane in Kalispell where children were reportedly living in deplorable conditions where feces and bugs were allegedly seen all over the home.
Five to six people were seen fighting on Montana 35 in Kalispell. One man reportedly knocked a man unconscious in a parking lot.
