N. Carolina man charged with dealing drugs
A North Carolina man has been charged with two counts of felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs in addition to felony criminal possession with intent to distribute.
According to court documents, Collin John Bowman, 21, reportedly sold an ounce of cocaine for $1,800 on Baker Avenue in Whitefish on Oct. 23, 2015.
On Nov. 1, 2015 Bowman allegedly met someone at City Beach in Whitefish and sold approximately two ounces of cocaine for $3,000.
The drugs were confirmed to be cocaine by the Montana Crime Lab.
On Nov. 10, 2015, a vehicle Bowman was in was stopped by law enforcement. Officers found a plastic bag containing approximately two ounces of suspected cocaine in the vehicle.
If convicted, Bowman faces imprisonment of a term no less than a year or maximum of life and a fine up to $50,000 for each charge.
If released on bond Bowman must reside at a Matthews, North Carolina, residence.
Arraignment is set for Aug. 11.
