Patricia Laura Foltz, 96

| July 31, 2016 6:00 AM

Our loving mother, Patricia Laura Foltz, passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of July 29, 2016, in Eureka, at Mt. View Manor.

She was born July 4, 1920, in Detroit, where she and sister Joanne were raised and attended school. She met and married Frank Edward Foltz, who became a Naval pilot and officer. She never stopped loving him, even after his death in 1974.

She loved sharing family life with daughter Catherine and son-in-law Dr. Brodie James in Ohio and Maine. In 2005 she moved to Bozeman, and then to Kalispell to be close to her daughter Laura and son-in-law Bill. She built many friends with her quick smile, wit and incredibly kind, gracious personality, sharing her precious, tender heart with everyone. Our gratitude goes out to the Godly staff members at Mt. View Manor. Words aren’t enough to express our thanks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Admiral Frank Foltz; sister, Joanne Schenck; father and mother, John and Catherine Stewart, and son-in-law, Dr. Brodie James. Surviving family members who took an active role in her well-being were daughters Catherine Ann James and Laura Barrera-Lipe, son-in-law Bill Lipe, nephews Stewart and Michael Schenck and niece Cathy Diane Parlanti.

Sympathy cards can be mailed to Laura Barrera-Lipe, P.O. Box 977, Eureka, MT 59917.

“Oh, how your loving heart and spirit will be missed!”
